Pure Dance Center Policies

Pure Dance Center Policies

1. Respect & Conduct

  • Gossip, negativity, and disruptive behavior are not permitted in the studio.

  • If a dancer, parent, or guardian has a concern, it must be addressed directly with the studio owner or front office manager.

  • Horseplay, roughhousing, and unsafe behavior are strictly prohibited.

  • Respectful communication and kindness are expected from dancers, parents, and staff at all times.

2. Attendance & Punctuality

  • Dancers must arrive on time and be prepared for class.

  • For safety reasons, dancers arriving more than 10 minutes late will not be allowed to join the class (warm-up is essential to prevent injury).

  • Regular attendance is expected to support progress and class consistency.

3. Dress Code & Studio Rules

  • Only approved dance attire is permitted in class (refer to class-specific requirements).

  • Proper dance shoes are required and may only be worn inside the studios. No outdoor shoes allowed.

  • No jewelry of any kind (except small stud earrings).

  • Hair must be secured neatly and away from the face.

  • Food and gum are not permitted in studios; water in sealed bottles is allowed.

4. Payments & Accounts

  • All families must keep a valid card on file; tuition is automatically debited monthly.

  • If a card on file fails, dancers will not be permitted to participate in class until the balance is resolved.

  • Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable.

5. Make-Up Classes

  • If a dancer misses a class, they may make it up in:

  • The same class on a different day/time (if available), OR

  • A class at the same level they are currently enrolled in, OR

  • All make-up classes must be completed within the same calendar month as the absence.

  • Make-up classes must be scheduled through the office in advance.

  • If a class is not made up within that month, it is considered null and void, as the studio does not keep records of missed classes past that point.

  • Unused make-up classes do not roll over and have no cash value.

  • Make-up classes are offered as a courtesy, not a guarantee. Availability may be limited due to class sizes, scheduling, or instructor discretion.

6. Studio Etiquette

  • Parents/guardians may not interrupt classes. Questions should be directed to the office staff.

  • Waiting areas should be kept clean and respectful for all families.

  • Photography or video recording during class is not permitted without prior permission.

7. Safety & Liability

  • Pure Dance Center is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please leave valuables at home.

  • All dancers must have a signed waiver on file before participating in any classes or performances.

  • Dancers must follow the instructor's directions at all times to maintain a safe environment.
